Pearl of the Bosphorus
I had the ‘privilege’ (or maybe ‘curse,’ depending on who you ask) of traveling all over Turkey with my parents and brother. We moved from the far southeast to the northwest, hitting up seven different cities by the time I was 14—spending about two years in each place. My childhood memories mostly consist of trucks and the never-ending cycle of packing and unpacking our stuff. At 14, I was selected as 4th out of 50,000 candidates after stages to join Kuleli Military High School, along with pilot training at the Turkish Air Forces where I had a chance to fly Cessna 172s for several sorties. ✈️

In 2010, I joined Istanbul Technical University ITU, where I studied Control and Automation Engineering and worked in Istanbul. In 2016, I moved to Berlin for further education at TU Berlin, while also working at the Fraunhofer Institute until 2022, where I contributed to various research projects.
Since 2022, I’ve worked with various startups and institutions, further honing my expertise in cloud technologies, security, data-driven development, and scalable architecture and infrastructure automation. With a solid foundation in engineering, research, and hands-on experience in diverse environments, I am continually focused on leveraging technology to solve complex challenges and drive innovation - and trying to make the most of it 👇.

Play mode
I’ve been active in sports since a young age, always eager to try something new—from team games to solo challenges. Over the years, this passion has shaped both my mindset and lifestyle. What truly helps me unwind and clear my head, though, is a good run—it’s my reset button. I also have a very eclectic and interesting taste in music, which you can explore here. 🏃🏻☀️

Fest mode
Super duper shot from a festival around Berlin with Chris. If you organise a festival give me a shout I’ll play or help with the construction gladly for free. 🌊

Traveling broadens our horizons, exposes us to diverse cultures, and fosters personal growth. It’s a powerful way to learn about the world and ourselves, creating lasting memories and enriching our lives. ⛰️

Ride mode
Bicycles have played an important part in my life. Show me another person who rides in a hilly city such as Istanbul with 52/16 ratio fixed gear, that’s love. 🚲
